Clash of Steel is based on an alternative history where the war in Europe finishes in 1944 with the surrender of Germany, but restarts just four years later in the face of Soviet aggression. Players take to the tabletop, fielding their chosen force in epic tank-on-tank combat using highly detailed multi-part plastic miniatures; battling over objectives in an attempt to control the battlefield and defeat their enemies!As German tanks became heavier with thicker armour, Allied forces looked for new options to defeat them. The appearance of the Tiger I was the last straw and prototype 17 pounder anti-tank guns were rushed to the front to give British forces an effective counter.
