General description US FED Spec Wire Rope Grips are designed for use with wire ropes, making them ideal for applications such as boat rigging, public areas, and yacht rigging. This product is specifically suited for wire rope diameters of 5/8" (16MM) and comes in a pack of four. Maintain a spacing between the grips of at least 6 times the diameter of the rope. Orient the grip correctly, placing the 'U' bolt on the unloaded end of the rope. Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings. Leave unused for 24 hours and check the torque setting again, re-tightening if necessary. After the first application of the load, re-check the torque setting and re-tighten
