The plump cushion is splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushion should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store it somewhere warm and dry. If it does get wet then allow it to fully dry somewhere warm before you store them.
