General description The Union StrongBOLT 22EU Euro Profile Mortice Sashlock is designed for timber doors hinged on either side and is suitable for doors up to 54mm thick. It features a secure 14mm deadbolt operated by key or cylinder turn, providing positive deadlocking. The lock includes hardened steel pins for increased resistance to sawing attacks and a chamfered bolt for improved performance under side load testing. It uses Union SwitchLatch technology with an easily reversible radius latch, allowing quick and tool-free installation into many UK door mortices without additional carpentry.
