As with all items in the One series, no compromises have been made with regard to the quality of the components: 2 highly sophisticated Burr-Brown OPA2134 operational amplifiers with extremely short response times ensure an increased liveliness and openness of the sound image, premium gold electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic and an elaborately designed DC voltage decoupling significantly improve the reproduction of trebles. The output stage is designed in Class AB circuitry and delivers sufficient power even for headphones with 600Ohm impedance. Despite the 12V standard plug, the power supply unit is able to provide supply voltages of 34V for the preamplifier and 38V for the output stage and, thanks to the output buffer, has sufficient current reserves for high impedance headphones. With Control One, you have a concise and targeted way to enjoy your music in reference quality. Monitoring via loudspeakers can also be managed via Control One: It allows you to connect and switch between two pairs of loudspeakers including a subwoofer with home or studio level, which can be set via DIP switches. The signal can be passed on to other equipment via the stereo line-out. Like Phonitor One, the SPL Control One has balanced and unbalanced inputs. To facilitate professional monitoring, both inputs can be connected together, the signal can be summed to mono and the left and right channels can be swapped.
