Large decorative acorn hand turned by the seller in laminated oak hardwood. This beautiful hand-crafted piece has a diameter of 7.6cm and a total length (including stalk) of 14.1cm. It has been finished with a coat of cellulose sealer followed by a coat of carnauba wax which gives a glossy finish and which really shows off the beautiful grain in the wood. Many people seem to sell small decorative acorns, but over-size pieces such as this seem to be genuinely unusual and (hopefully) highly collectible.
