It comes in a protective non-acidic plastic foil cover (easily removed, no tape or adhesive used), as sold wrapped by Topping and Company Booksellers. The book has been stored in a pet-free, smoke-free collector's home, away from direct sunlight. I'm downsizing my collection and letting go of a few beautiful editions. I hope this brings someone else lots of joy.
