After a long climb, the perfect trail lies ahead of your tires: flowy, dusty, varied, endless. Nothing holds you back from entering the All Mountain thrills with the M 1900 SPLINE. A rim developed with optimal balance of durability and weight offers efficient climbing characteristics as well as dent resistance on single trails. Thanks to the new Ratchet LN system and experienced wheel building by hand, this wheel is a reliable partner to collect freewheeling moments in the mountains.Rim:- Tubeless-capable, sleeved aluminum rims, featuring a specific 30 mm internal width for efficiency and grip.Hub:- The M 1900 SPLINE 370 hub is now upgraded to the Ratchet LN freehub system for even higher reliability.Ratchet Ln:- The reliability of the Ratchet System comes from the fact that each tooth engages simultaneously. In comparison, the pawl system has much smaller engagement surfaces.Spokes:- The 2.0 mm diameter DT champion spoke is made of steel to resist the high radial forces that occur on the wheel from the drive and brake torques.Brake Interface:- The M 1900 SPLINE is available in centerlock and comes with an IS 6-bolt adapter.Thru-axle:- Thru-axle refers to a wheel mounting system. RWS technology from DT Swiss allows quick, precise mounting simply by turning an easily adjustable lever. Thru-axle systems guarantee a rigid and secure connection between the wheel and the frame. Thru-axles must be compatible with the frame and fork because the built-in-width, diameter and thread of the axle vary and are defined by the frame and fork manufacturer.Brake Interface:- The advantage of the Center Lock system is that the disc brake attachment is made with one single lock ring, which facilitates assembly. On the other hand, an advantage of the IS-System (6 Bolt) is that in the event of a necessary repair on the trail, no special tool is needed for disassembly. Center Lock:- Center Lock refers to a system for brake discs that was developed by Shimano. The brake disc is mounted on the hub by means of an external spline and screwing on a lock ring. The advantage of the Center Lock system is that the brake discs are centered and mounting requires only screwing down a single lock ring.Straightpull:- Straightpull refers to spokes without the classic J-bend head. The lack of a bend in the head eliminates one of the spoke's weak points, making it very robust and stable. Sleeve joint:- Sleeve joint refers to a method used in making rims. In this case, the two rim ends are pressed together via a molded aluminum part. This gives these rims a high degree of stability.Rim Diameter:- The 700c (622 mm / 29 inches) is the most common wheel size for road racing. The 650b (584 mm / 27.5 inches) wheel size is used in specific areas. Each wheel size offers unique advantages for different kinds of riding.Rim height:- In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, agility and weight of the wheel. The general principle is the higher the profile of the rim, the...
