The Motor Battalions of the British Armoured Brigades were the first to be issued with the new Saracen armoured personnel carrier. These battalions continued to support the tank regiments in the field, holding ground or objectives taken by the tanks, clearing terrain too difficult or dangerous for tanks, and protecting the tanks from enemy infantry. They were highly mobile, but well-armed with their own anti-tank guns and machine-guns, making them difficult to move when dug-in.Includes two resin and metal Saracen armoured personnel carriers.
