Cutting cables of larger cross-sections is usually one of the less popular jobs in the installation trade. It takes a long time with the saw. Cable cutters without transmission quickly reach the limits of the operating forces that can be applied by hand. That is why making work easier was at the top of the agenda when developing the three-speed cable cutter. The Knipex cable cutter cuts through cables with a cross-section of up to 600 mm² with little to moderate manual effort. Depending on the thickness of the cable, one of the three power levels and with it the appropriate knife feed is selected. The toothed ring drive keeps the cutting edges in the position they have already reached when re-gripping. The cutting process is therefore continued at exactly the same point. The result is a co.
